Call for Papers and Artwork 2025

Note on Gurdjieff writings editions: When referencing, quoting from, or basing a presentation on Beelzebub’s Tales to His Grandson, the preferred edition is the original 1950 edition for all submissions. Thank you.

A Long Paper is expected to have a full text between 5,000 and 10,000 words and, if accepted, will be published in the annual Proceedings of the conference. Authors will present their papers during the In Person conference, providing a thirty-five minute oral synopsis of the paper, followed by forty minutes of questions and discussion.

The Paper may include a Power Point presentation to accompany the talk. You may illustrate your points with Audio/Visual media. Please refer to the Style Guidelines for Papers and Q&A transcriptions.

It is expected that papers will be based on the writings of G. I. Gurdjieff.

The All & Everything Conference will once again accept Short Papers,  which may range in length from 500 to 1,000 words (not to exceed 1,500). Short Papers are designed to give an opportunity for anyone to share their understanding of the writings of G. I. Gurdjieff.

The Paper may include a Power Point presentation to accompany the talk. You may illustrate your points with Audio/Visual media. Please refer to the Style Guidelines for Papers and Q&A transcriptions.

Authors of accepted Short Papers are expected to attend the In Person Conference to make their presentations.

I grant authority for publication to the All & Everything Conference Planning Committee. I understand that any profits will be used for producing future Conferences. This consent does not limit my rights of subsequent personal presentation, publication and remuneration from the publication of print, audio or video of my Paper or Poster.

I understand the Planning Committee will make my Paper or Poster available to attendees at least 2 weeks prior to the Conference in consideration of their preparation.

For the 2021 Conference, we created an online Gallery which has been expanded every year since. Artists are  invited to submit original works for the forthcoming All and Everything Conference.

Please submit a written description and photos of the artwork using the online Call for Artwork form below. The written description shall indicate how the artwork relates to The Work. Original music, plays, movies, poetry, artistic posters, and other forms of expression may qualify as artwork.

In order to convey the full depth and understanding of the artwork, please provide all necessary information i.e.: photographs for traditional artwork; a recording in the case of music; the complete video in the case of a movie; and the complete work in the case of a play or poetry.

A form for a written description is provided below. It shall describe how the artwork relates to The Work.
