THE 11 thINTERNATIONAL HUMANITIES CONFERENCE
ALL & EVERYTHING 2006, IN RETROSPECT
WEDNESDAY evening, April 19
through SUNDAY noon, April 23, 2006.
The 11th International Humanities Conference – All & Everything 2006 convened on April 19, 2006 at the Green Man Hotel in Old Harlow, UK. The conference was attended by forty delegates travelling from Canada, Belgium, Israel, Iceland, Greece, Netherlands, Norway, United Kingdom and United States.
From the Conference’s inception, it’s members have worked toward making this ‘gathering of the Companions of the Book’ to become more and more just that – a gathering of people from all over the world who come together for the purpose of ‘fathoming the gist’ of Gurdjieff’s writings, of sharing our insights and experiences, our questions, and our efforts to understand and grow into becoming remarkable men and women.
Six papers and a Cultural Event were presented. Abstracts of the papers are located on the Abstracts 2006 page.
The 2006 Proceedings are available from Amazon.com . They contain the texts of the Question and Answer sessions and the Seminars were transcribed from audio recordings by the presenters or Planning Committee volunteers and will reflect their individual editing styles. Some portions may be inaccurate or missing due to recording problems.
At the final \”Where do we go from here\”session, the delegates decided to have an 12th Conference in 2007, and a site committee was selected to research several possible locales. The site selected is the Hotel Pappas, Loutraki of Korinthia, Peloponnese, Greece. The dates are Wednesday, 18 April – Sunday, 22 April 2007.
