This makes it convenient to plan a trip from the PDX Airport to the University Place Hotel where the Conference is happening, or from the Hotel to Powell’s City of Books, the world’s largest new and used bookstore.
Once at the Hotel, getting around is easy
The Hotel is located right next to public transportation systems and as of summer of 2017, Uber/Lyft are easy to use, and there are rental cars agencies with desks at the hotel (budget OR avis) as well as taxis, limos, shuttles and more. Ground transportation at this prime, city location is easy. Do avoid rush hour though…, if you can.
